English Fest for Primary Students

English Fest for primary students was conducted in the school auditorium of GHSS KAMBALLUR today morning(25/02/2016) .The students in the first ,second , third and fourth standard were speaking English fluently. Skits,mock interviews and songs in English presented by various groups of students were the highlights of the programme.The programme inaugurated by Felix geroge,the Headmaster, was anchored by Mr.Shobin,Cherupuzha.This programme marked the conclusion of the special spoken English training provided by THE PTA with the help of Mr.Shobin,Cherupuzha to the students of primary section in GHSS KAMBALLUR.Anjana T P of std 4 extended a vote of thanks .The participants in the inaugural function appreciated the efforts of the teacher and the performance of the students .

fall through the gaps of the leaves like a spear.

3. Korowai forest is like a giant watery cave because of trees and rain. Deadly creatures like snake,

spider and microbes give frightening beauty to the area. Tracks winding the tress and palms are

not so visible. Raindrops attain magical beauty while falling through the tree canopy like a spear.

5. Here the poet humorously presents his dislike for sitting in the dentist’s clinic. Unlike in other treatments, there is no full stop for dental checkups and the patient has to visit the dentist every three months.  The poet feels it as a mental and physical torture to be in the dentist’s chair with wide open mouth. So he terms the regular dental visit as ‘the most vicious circle’.
