Tributes to a Mentor

One of our resource persons AVANEENDRANATH MASTER passed away on 4.11.2017.
HE was one of my mentors in teaching English. We have met on  a few  roads ,not taken by many.
He was present  when there were  residential camps for English teachers organised by ELTIF.
THE LAST TIME WE MET WAS IN A DISTRICTWISE MEETING to discuss the pros and cons of Pothuvidyabhyasa Samrakshana Yanjam( THE CAMPAIGN TO PROTECT PUBLIC SCHOOL SYSTEM ).

GOODBYE ,DEAR SIR.- CKR

The memories of our Avani sir painfully lingers. He was a teacher with a different bent of mind.A person of substance who walked miles ahead of us in teaching career. His presence made many of our past sessions in cluster meetings lively and useful.his words have enlightened the english teaching community.let his words smoulder in our hearts longer.Prayerful homage to Avaneendran Sir.

-FLABIAN JOHN (quoted from a whats up post )

Really shocking.Losing the real mentor and inspiration. How often we turned to thee. The routine clusters in Kasargode reverberated with your wit and  ideas.Learned from you the art of evaluating answer sheets and you reminded us of the scapegoat if we hurried. Never to forget the the warmth and affection showered on us.Goodbye, sir .How much we miss you !

-VINAYARAJ P(quoted from a whats up post )
