05 08 2020കേരളത്തില്‍ പ്രളയ മുന്നറിയിപ്പ് നല്‍കി ദേശീയ ജല കമ്മീഷന്‍. ഇടുക്കി, ഇടമലയാര്‍ ഡാമുകളില്‍ വലിയ തോതില്‍ ജലനിരപ്പ് ഉയരും. പാലക്കാട് ഭവാനിയില്‍ ജലനിരപ്പ് അപകടകരമായ രീതിയില്‍ ഉയരാന്‍ സാധ്യതയുണ്ടെന്നും ദേശീയ ജല കമ്മീഷന്‍ പുറത്തിറക്കിയ സ്‌പെഷ്യല്‍ ഫ്‌ളഡ് അഡൈ്വസറിയില്‍ പറയുന്നു.
കേരളം അടക്കം ആറ് സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങള്‍ക്കാണ് ദേശീയ ജല കമ്മീഷന്‍ മുന്നറിയിപ്പ് നല്‍കിയിരിക്കുന്നത്. നാലുദിവസം കൂടി മഴ തുടരുമെന്നതിനാല്‍ ജാഗ്രത പാലിക്കണമെന്നും നിര്‍ദേശം നല്‍കിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. കേരളത്തില്‍ പെരിയാര്‍ തടത്തില്‍ ശക്തമായി മഴ ലഭിക്കും. ഇടുക്കി, ഇടമലയാര്‍ ഡാമുകളില്‍ വലിയ തോതില്‍ ജലനിരപ്പ് ഉയരും. നിലവില്‍ ഡാമുകള്‍ക്ക് സംഭരണ ശേഷിയുണ്ടെന്നും ജല കമ്മീഷന്‍ അറിയിച്ചു.
