നാളെ 5/09/2020അദ്ധ്യാപക ദിനമാണ്. ഡോ.സർവ്വേപ്പള്ളി രാധാകൃഷ്ണനെ ഓർത്തുകൊണ്ടാണ് നാം ഈ ദിനം ആചരിക്കുന്നത്. സമൂഹത്തിന്റെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ പ്രതീക്ഷ അദ്ധ്യാപകരിലാണ്. ആ പ്രതീക്ഷക്കൊത്ത് ഉയരുക എന്നതാണ് അദ്ധ്യാപകരുടെ കടമ. ഇക്കാര്യം പ്രിയപ്പെട്ട എല്ലാ അദ്ധ്യാപകരേയും ഓർമ്മിപ്പിക്കുവാൻ ഈ അവസരം ഉപയോഗിക്കട്ടെ. നല്ല തലമുറകളെ വാർത്തെടുക്കുക എന്നതാണ് വികസനം എന്നതുകൊണ്ട് ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നത്. അതിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി അറിവിലും അന്വേഷണത്തിലും കരുണയിലും സമഭാവനയിലും പ്രകൃതിസ്നേഹത്തിലും സഹ-അന്യജീവി സ്നേഹത്തിലും പടിപടിയായി ഗുണപരമായ മാറ്റങ്ങൾ തലമുറകൾതോറും ഉണ്ടാകണമെന്ന് മനുഷ്യൻ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു. ഈ ആഗ്രഹത്തിനൊത്ത് തലമുറകളെ വാർത്തെടുക്കുന്ന പ്രക്രിയയാണ് വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം. അതുകൊണ്ടുതന്നെ അത് സമഗ്രമാണ്, ആവാസ വ്യവസ്ഥാധിഷ്ഠിതമാണ്.
മേൽപറഞ്ഞ രീതിയിൽ തലമുറകളെ വാർത്തെടുക്കുവാൻ ശ്രമിക്കുന്ന അദ്ധ്യാപകന് കൃത്യമായ ബോധനശാസ്ത്രവും ബോധനരീതിയും ഉണ്ടാകണം. കേരളത്തിൽ ടെക്നോപെഡഗോജി എന്ന ഏറ്റവും ആധുനിക ബോധനശാസ്ത്രമാണ് നാം ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നത്. കുട്ടിയെ അറിവിലേയ്ക്കും തിരിച്ചറിവിലേയ്ക്കും അന്വേഷണത്തിലേയ്ക്കും ചിന്തയിലേയ്ക്കും നയിക്കുക എന്നതാണ് ഈ ബോധന ശാസ്ത്രത്തിന്റെ സർഗ്ഗ സന്ദേശം. കുട്ടിയുടെ മനസ്സിനെ അറിവിന്റെ പ്രഭവ സ്രോതസ്സുകളിലേയ്ക്ക് തുറന്നു കൊടുക്കുക എന്ന ബോധനരീതിയാണ് പിന്തുടരേണ്ടത്. ആധുനിക ശാസ്ത്രസാങ്കേതിക വിദ്യകളുടെ സഹായവും സാധ്യതയും കേരളത്തിൽ ഇന്ന് അദ്ധ്യാപകന് ഉണ്ട് എന്നത് ശ്രദ്ധേയമാണ്. ഹൈടെക് ക്ലാസ്സുകളിലൂടെ നാലുചുവരുകൾക്കകത്ത് ലോകത്തിന്റെ ഏതു കോണുകളിലേയ്ക്കും അറിവിന്റെ സ്രോതസ്സുകളിലേയ്ക്ക് കുട്ടിയുടെ മനസ്സിനെ കൊണ്ടു പോകാം. ഈ സുവർണ്ണ സാധ്യത കുട്ടിയുടെ മനസ്സിന്റെ വികാസത്തിന്റെ സർഗ്ഗസാധ്യതയാക്കി മാറ്റുന്നിടത്താണ് അദ്ധ്യാപകൻ വളരുന്നത്. അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര നിലവാരത്തിലേയ്ക്ക് നമ്മുടെ മക്കൾക്കുയരുവാൻ സാധിക്കുന്ന കനകാവസരമാണ് കേരളത്തിലെ പൊതുവിദ്യാലയങ്ങളിൽ സൃഷ്ടിക്കപ്പെട്ടിട്ടുള്ളത്.
അറിവിന്റെ ചക്രവാളത്തിലേയ്ക്ക് കുട്ടിയെ കൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടു പോയാൽ മാത്രം പോരാ. കുട്ടിയുടെ മനസ്സിനെ അന്വേഷണ ഭാവത്തിലേക്ക് നയിക്കണം. കുട്ടികളോട് ചോദ്യങ്ങൾ ചോദിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് മാത്രമല്ല അന്വേഷണ ഭാവം വളർത്തേണ്ടത്. സ്വയം ചോദിക്കുവാനുള്ള സർഗ്ഗശേഷി കുട്ടിയിൽ വിടർത്തിക്കൊണ്ട് കൂടിയാണ്. ഈ സർഗ്ഗശേഷിയാണ് വികാസത്തിന്റെ രാസത്വരകം. സ്വയം ചോദിക്കുന്ന സർഗ്ഗപ്രക്രിയ കുട്ടിയിൽ വളർന്നു വരുമ്പോൾ അത് പൂർണ്ണമാകുവാനുള്ള വഴികളിലൊന്ന് ആഴത്തിലുള്ള വായനയും അനുഭവങ്ങളുടെ പങ്കുവെയ്ക്കലുമാണ്. ശാസ്ത്ര, സാങ്കേതിക, സാഹിത്യ, സംഗീത, കല, സാംസ്ക്കാരിക, ചരിത്ര, ഭാഷാ മേഖലകളിൽ ശുദ്ധ ഗവേഷകരാകുവാൻ സാധ്യതയുള്ള നിരവധി കുട്ടികൾ നമ്മുടെ ക്ലാസ്സുകളിലുണ്ട്. അവരെ പരീക്ഷയ്ക്കുവേണ്ടി മനഃപാഠം പഠിപ്പിച്ച് പരീക്ഷയ്ക്ക് മാത്രം തയ്യാറാക്കി അനന്ത സാധ്യതകളെ ഇല്ലാതാക്കരുത്. എല്ലാ മേഖലകളിലും സർഗ്ഗാന്വേഷണം ചടുലമായി വളരണം. പ്രകൃതി മനുഷ്യനിൽ ലയിപ്പിച്ചിട്ടുള്ള അന്വേഷണഭാവത്തെ വളർത്തുന്നവരാണ് അദ്ധ്യാപകർ. അച്ഛനും അമ്മയ്ക്കും നല്ല അദ്ധ്യാപകരാകാം. നല്ല അദ്ധ്യാപകൻ എന്നും നല്ല വിദ്യാർത്ഥിയാണ്. നല്ല വിദ്യാർത്ഥിക്കേ നല്ല അദ്ധ്യാപകനാകാൻ കഴിയൂ.
ഭാവപകർച്ച നല്ല അധ്യാപന രീതിയാണ്. കൗമാരജീവിതത്തിന്റെ മുഖ്യ അംശവും കുട്ടികൾ നേരിട്ടു കാണുന്നത് അദ്ധ്യാപകരെയാണ്. അവരുടെ ഭാവങ്ങൾ, ഭാഷാപ്രയോഗം, സഹജീവിബന്ധങ്ങൾ, പ്രകൃതി സ്നേഹം, വായനാസംസ്കാരം, കാരുണ്യം, കരുതൽ എന്നിവയെല്ലാം അറിയാതെ പകരുന്നത് കുട്ടികളിലേയ്ക്കാണ്. ഈ പകർച്ച നൽകുന്ന സാധ്യത അനിർവചനീയമാണ്. ഓരോ കുട്ടിയേയും അത്ഭുതപ്പെടുത്തുന്നതാകണം ഈ ഭാവപകർച്ച. ഇതിനമപ്പുറം പലമേഖലകളിലും മാതൃകയുമാകണം, സമൂഹത്തിന്റെ സാന്ദ്രമായ വേദനയായി മാറിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്ന മയക്കുമരുന്ന് ഉപയോഗവർദ്ധനവ്, മദ്യം, പുകയില ഉപയോഗം, കമ്പോളത്തോടും പണത്തോടുമുള്ള ആഭിമുഖ്യം, ഇവയൊന്നും പുതിയ തലമുറയെ ബാധിക്കരുത് എന്ന് അദ്ധ്യാപകർക്ക് നിർബന്ധമുണ്ടാകണം. അതിനായി ഈ ദുശ്ശീലങ്ങൾ തൊട്ടുതീണ്ടാത്ത മാതൃകയായി അദ്ധ്യാപകർ മാറണം.
അദ്ധ്യാപകന്റേയും മാതാപിതാക്കളുടേയും ഓരോ ചലനങ്ങളും കുട്ടിയെ സ്വാധീനിക്കുമെന്ന് എല്ലാവരും ഓർക്കണം. ഈ തിരിച്ചറിവിലാണ് കുട്ടിയെ വളർത്തുന്നതിന്റെ കല ലയിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്. അദ്ധ്യാപകന്റെ ജീവിതം തന്നെ പാഠപുസ്തകമാകണം. തലമുറകളെ സ്വപ്നം കാണുന്നവരാണ് നാം, അതായത് അദ്ധ്യാപകർ.
കേരളത്തിന്റെ പൊതുവിദ്യാഭ്യാസ സംരക്ഷണ യജ്ഞം ഈ ലക്ഷ്യത്തിലാണ് അദ്ധ്യാപക പരിശീലനം നൽകുന്നത്. ഒപ്പം സാങ്കേതികവിദ്യയിൽ നൈപുണ്യം നേടുവാനും കൂടി ശ്രമിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. ആധുനിക അദ്ധ്യാപകരാക്കുവാൻ പൊതുവിദ്യാഭ്യാസ വകുപ്പ് ശ്രമിക്കുകയാണ്. കേരളം വികസിപ്പിച്ചെടുത്ത Techno-pedagogy എന്ന ആധുനിക ബോധന-ശാസ്ത്രത്തിന്റെ വക്താക്കളും പ്രയോക്താക്കളുമാക്കാൻ ഇടതുപക്ഷ ജനാധിപത്യ മുന്നണി സർക്കാർ ശ്രമിക്കുകയാണ്. ഇങ്ങനെ ജനകീയ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസത്തിന്റെ തനിമ കേരളത്തിൽ നിറഞ്ഞു നില്ക്കുന്നു.
ദേശീയതലത്തിൽ പുതിയതായിവരുന്ന വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ നയം ഈ നയത്തെ ഇല്ലാതാക്കുന്നതാണെന്ന കാര്യവും കൂടി ഓർമ്മിക്കണം. കമ്പോള സാന്നിദ്ധ്യം മേൽപറഞ്ഞ നൈതികമൂല്യങ്ങളെ തകർക്കും. അവിടെ അദ്ധ്യാപകർ കമ്പോളത്തിന്റെ ഉപകരണമാകും. ഇത് പറ്റില്ല എന്ന് നാം ഉറക്കെ പറയണം. കേരളത്തിന്റെ പൊതുവിദ്യാഭ്യാസരംഗത്തെ അദ്ധ്യാപകർ ആധുനികതയുടെയും മാനവീകതയുടെയും വക്താക്കളായി മാറണം.

അറിവിന്റെ ചക്രവാളത്തിലേയ്ക്ക് കുട്ടിയെ കൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടു പോയാൽ മാത്രം പോരാ. കുട്ടിയുടെ മനസ്സിനെ അന്വേഷണ ഭാവത്തിലേക്ക് നയിക്കണം. കുട്ടികളോട് ചോദ്യങ്ങൾ ചോദിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് മാത്രമല്ല അന്വേഷണ ഭാവം വളർത്തേണ്ടത്. സ്വയം ചോദിക്കുവാനുള്ള സർഗ്ഗശേഷി കുട്ടിയിൽ വിടർത്തിക്കൊണ്ട് കൂടിയാണ്. ഈ സർഗ്ഗശേഷിയാണ് വികാസത്തിന്റെ രാസത്വരകം. സ്വയം ചോദിക്കുന്ന സർഗ്ഗപ്രക്രിയ കുട്ടിയിൽ വളർന്നു വരുമ്പോൾ അത് പൂർണ്ണമാകുവാനുള്ള വഴികളിലൊന്ന് ആഴത്തിലുള്ള വായനയും അനുഭവങ്ങളുടെ പങ്കുവെയ്ക്കലുമാണ്. ശാസ്ത്ര, സാങ്കേതിക, സാഹിത്യ, സംഗീത, കല, സാംസ്ക്കാരിക, ചരിത്ര, ഭാഷാ മേഖലകളിൽ ശുദ്ധ ഗവേഷകരാകുവാൻ സാധ്യതയുള്ള നിരവധി കുട്ടികൾ നമ്മുടെ ക്ലാസ്സുകളിലുണ്ട്. അവരെ പരീക്ഷയ്ക്കുവേണ്ടി മനഃപാഠം പഠിപ്പിച്ച് പരീക്ഷയ്ക്ക് മാത്രം തയ്യാറാക്കി അനന്ത സാധ്യതകളെ ഇല്ലാതാക്കരുത്. എല്ലാ മേഖലകളിലും സർഗ്ഗാന്വേഷണം ചടുലമായി വളരണം. പ്രകൃതി മനുഷ്യനിൽ ലയിപ്പിച്ചിട്ടുള്ള അന്വേഷണഭാവത്തെ വളർത്തുന്നവരാണ് അദ്ധ്യാപകർ. അച്ഛനും അമ്മയ്ക്കും നല്ല അദ്ധ്യാപകരാകാം. നല്ല അദ്ധ്യാപകൻ എന്നും നല്ല വിദ്യാർത്ഥിയാണ്. നല്ല വിദ്യാർത്ഥിക്കേ നല്ല അദ്ധ്യാപകനാകാൻ കഴിയൂ.
ഭാവപകർച്ച നല്ല അധ്യാപന രീതിയാണ്. കൗമാരജീവിതത്തിന്റെ മുഖ്യ അംശവും കുട്ടികൾ നേരിട്ടു കാണുന്നത് അദ്ധ്യാപകരെയാണ്. അവരുടെ ഭാവങ്ങൾ, ഭാഷാപ്രയോഗം, സഹജീവിബന്ധങ്ങൾ, പ്രകൃതി സ്നേഹം, വായനാസംസ്കാരം, കാരുണ്യം, കരുതൽ എന്നിവയെല്ലാം അറിയാതെ പകരുന്നത് കുട്ടികളിലേയ്ക്കാണ്. ഈ പകർച്ച നൽകുന്ന സാധ്യത അനിർവചനീയമാണ്. ഓരോ കുട്ടിയേയും അത്ഭുതപ്പെടുത്തുന്നതാകണം ഈ ഭാവപകർച്ച. ഇതിനമപ്പുറം പലമേഖലകളിലും മാതൃകയുമാകണം, സമൂഹത്തിന്റെ സാന്ദ്രമായ വേദനയായി മാറിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്ന മയക്കുമരുന്ന് ഉപയോഗവർദ്ധനവ്, മദ്യം, പുകയില ഉപയോഗം, കമ്പോളത്തോടും പണത്തോടുമുള്ള ആഭിമുഖ്യം, ഇവയൊന്നും പുതിയ തലമുറയെ ബാധിക്കരുത് എന്ന് അദ്ധ്യാപകർക്ക് നിർബന്ധമുണ്ടാകണം. അതിനായി ഈ ദുശ്ശീലങ്ങൾ തൊട്ടുതീണ്ടാത്ത മാതൃകയായി അദ്ധ്യാപകർ മാറണം.
അദ്ധ്യാപകന്റേയും മാതാപിതാക്കളുടേയും ഓരോ ചലനങ്ങളും കുട്ടിയെ സ്വാധീനിക്കുമെന്ന് എല്ലാവരും ഓർക്കണം. ഈ തിരിച്ചറിവിലാണ് കുട്ടിയെ വളർത്തുന്നതിന്റെ കല ലയിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്. അദ്ധ്യാപകന്റെ ജീവിതം തന്നെ പാഠപുസ്തകമാകണം. തലമുറകളെ സ്വപ്നം കാണുന്നവരാണ് നാം, അതായത് അദ്ധ്യാപകർ.
കേരളത്തിന്റെ പൊതുവിദ്യാഭ്യാസ സംരക്ഷണ യജ്ഞം ഈ ലക്ഷ്യത്തിലാണ് അദ്ധ്യാപക പരിശീലനം നൽകുന്നത്. ഒപ്പം സാങ്കേതികവിദ്യയിൽ നൈപുണ്യം നേടുവാനും കൂടി ശ്രമിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. ആധുനിക അദ്ധ്യാപകരാക്കുവാൻ പൊതുവിദ്യാഭ്യാസ വകുപ്പ് ശ്രമിക്കുകയാണ്. കേരളം വികസിപ്പിച്ചെടുത്ത Techno-pedagogy എന്ന ആധുനിക ബോധന-ശാസ്ത്രത്തിന്റെ വക്താക്കളും പ്രയോക്താക്കളുമാക്കാൻ ഇടതുപക്ഷ ജനാധിപത്യ മുന്നണി സർക്കാർ ശ്രമിക്കുകയാണ്. ഇങ്ങനെ ജനകീയ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസത്തിന്റെ തനിമ കേരളത്തിൽ നിറഞ്ഞു നില്ക്കുന്നു.
ദേശീയതലത്തിൽ പുതിയതായിവരുന്ന വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ നയം ഈ നയത്തെ ഇല്ലാതാക്കുന്നതാണെന്ന കാര്യവും കൂടി ഓർമ്മിക്കണം. കമ്പോള സാന്നിദ്ധ്യം മേൽപറഞ്ഞ നൈതികമൂല്യങ്ങളെ തകർക്കും. അവിടെ അദ്ധ്യാപകർ കമ്പോളത്തിന്റെ ഉപകരണമാകും. ഇത് പറ്റില്ല എന്ന് നാം ഉറക്കെ പറയണം. കേരളത്തിന്റെ പൊതുവിദ്യാഭ്യാസരംഗത്തെ അദ്ധ്യാപകർ ആധുനികതയുടെയും മാനവീകതയുടെയും വക്താക്കളായി മാറണം.
