The video is a good attempt to analyse the temptations of students in campus to take to alcoholism and it tries to give a message against drug abuse and alcoholism. To be frank,the film lacks in artistic quality and does not have a good plot to create interest.And it fails to explore the reasons for certain students to subject themselves to such bad habits.It provides the simple reason that drugs and drinks are available in the open market and hence some students get them.There are subtle reasons more than this. The higher secondary class transaction as visualised in the film portrays the same old passive lecture method followed by the teacher and the students not engaged in any active learning process.This bookish approach might also be one reason why our students lose their interest in classroom learning and that may be the reason why they divert their attention to something different.The dialogues even from the very beginning ( I mean the introduction by the Principal )could have been edited to make them shorter and crisper. However ,being the first attempt ,it remains a meaningful effort with a relevant message.Congrats, Aswathy teacher and the team behind the making of the video.- CKR
