resilience - Anecdote

Just wanted to share with you -nothing serious,  couple of days, I was walking along the footpath ( a wide one-size of a road-it has hardened surface), when I noticed a ground worm slowing across it-it has reached, possibly quarter of its journey. Somebody stamped on it ( school has more than 1000 students) and half of its body was limp.  It was dragging its half limp body to the remaining part of the journey. In human terms I consider it like swimming ( not walking) 10 miles littered with poisonous snakes.
I could feel myself feeling respectful,   for that ground worm for its resilience* , and willingness to move forward in spite of the setbacks  and hard journey ahead.
