Greta's father ,a Patient Trainer

Greta's  father in the story "Conceptual Fruit "  is a patient trainer .Greta is a differently abled child .She is slow in speaking and typing.Now she is going to a special school.She is in the 5th grade though she is sixteen years old.Her family is anxious about her .It is a relief for her father to find out that  she is interested in computers. Greta was typing words like peaches correctly though slowly.Father tries hard to keep her interested in the virtual world . But she slips away easily like any normal child. Here we can see that the cyber wold helps Greta learn  certain things and feel happy for a certain period.As the story ends her mother is cutting blackberries and Greta is sliding away from the chair to help her mother.She has grown up a lot  ! Her father is a patient trainer .He is  so caring ,dedicated and  persisting like the father in the film 'Dangal'.He is always positive and hopeful in his approach.When Greta is typing words like peaches correctly though slowly ,he thinks that with this progress she could get at least a job  in word processing  within a few years. She would then live in group house.She would live  with children  like her.  He hope it would be  large and will have sheer blue curtains in all rooms . He hoped it would have an orchard around it ; with fruits to put in real blue bowls with apples, pears,peaches ; whatever  Greta wanted. What we see is Greta's father  thinking about using  technology to help his daughter and dreams about  of a better future for her.
